Toyapakeh
Dive site Toyapakeh in Nusa Penida
Toyapakeh, or “salt water” in Balinese, is a world class dive site and one of the favorites among our staff. It is famous for its stunning coral ecosystem and rich marine life. You will be blown away with the beauty and colours of the reef! You often can see schools of tropical fish, many turtles and maybe reef sharks. Additionally, this site is an ideal site for spotting the smaller macro life with sightings of tiny crabs and shrimps, nudibranchs and frogfish.
It can be suitable for all levels as the coral reef has a shallow plateau, which slopes off to 40+ meters on the wall. It is a drift dive, and current can be anywhere from gentle to strong, so timing is crucial for diving this site.
