What to do on Nusa Penida

With 200km2 square, outside of the best diving spots in Nusa Penida, there are plenty of other things to visit and to see on Nusa Penida. Here are a few of the highlights of our island. We can easily organise a day tour for you if you wish, or give you some indications on how to reach these sites on motorbike.

Goa Giri Putri temple

Located in Karang Sari, this temple is a special place for the Balinese people but also a very interesting one to visit as it is...underground! You will be required to wear a sarong and it is expected to make a small donation for the temple. The giant cave that serves as a temple is lit, getting inside might require a little bit of flexibility. You might not be able to get in if there is a ceremony on that same day.

Explore the stunning beaches

It is very easy to rent a motorbike or find a car with a driver for a day. Some of the roads around Nusa Penida can be difficult to manage on a motorbike, so we advise to go for the car option if you are not comfortable driving a moped.

The scenery of the island is breathtaking and you will not be short on gorgeous photos to take home. Atuh Beach is surrounded by cliffs and has a rock arch at the front. Crystal Bay is the perfect spot to enjoy a fresh coconut or a cool beer while watching the sunset. Kelinking Beach is one of the most famous spots on the island thanks to the stretch of rocks extending into the ocean.

Other great viewpoints include Broken Beach, Angel's Billabong and more...ask us for info when you arrive, we will be happy to tell you about the coolest spots to visit in Nusa Penida!

Enjoy the island life

There are so many spots where you can enjoy a fresh coconut or a delicious local snack. We suggest that you allow a day or two to explore the island, it has so much to offer! We would be happy to help you organise your plans, just let us know what you need upon arrival.
