Facilites at Purple Dive Penida
We are located close to the village of Sental, on the North Coast of Nusa Penida, right by the ocean but a bit up the hill, giving us a great view of Mt Agung in Bali.
Ecofriendly building
Our buildings have been designed with environment impact in mind.
We have used local materials and products, and have tried to keep the natural environment as much as possible.
All our waters are recycled. You will see a couple of easy rules to follow around the dive centre in order to keep our waters clean. We collect rain water and reuse everything else for the garden or other purposes.
We try to reduce our waste as much as possible. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle that you can refill here freely. Our lunch is served in reusable containers.
Pool
Our infinity pool overlooking the ocean has been built not only for enjoyment but also with dive training in mind. With its generous size and impressive depth of 2,8 meters there is plenty of space to swim around and practice skills and perfect your technique.
Of course, it is also perfect to cool off while enjoying the view!
Classroom
Classroom is a boring word? Not anymore!
Whether you need to do a bit of dive theory or you simply want to relax on the top of our "watchtower", our airy open bamboo classroom is always open!
And we promise it has the best view!
Equipment
Our dive gear is all recent and serviced regularly.
We made the choice to not go with a single brand so we could pick what seemed the best for regular and comfortable use.
A crucial details for the waters of Nusa Penida that can be quite chilly: we offer 5mm boots and wetsuits, and even a hood if you would like!
Our dive boats
Our dive vessels Octopussy and Gurita can accommodate 12 to 14 divers with comfort. You will have space for your equipment and we have on board all the safety features that we need!
Powered by 2*100HP engines, they will get you in the best dive sites in Nusa Penida in no time!
Other facilities
For the rest, we have you covered!
We have toilet facilities of course, as well as beautifully crafted bamboo outdoor showers, and a private shower cubicle for those who prefer. Tables and chairs as well as loungers surround the pool for you to relax.
You are welcome to use the free wifi and help yourself to drinking water, tea and coffee, which are freely available.
