Then the PADI Advanced Open Water course is for you and Nusa Penida is the place to do it! Enjoy great diving in Nusa Penida and gain more dive experience under the supervision of your PADI instructor. This course doesn’t involve a lot of classroom time but lots of fun and diving so you get to experience the best dive sites in Nusa Penida. You can go straight into it after the PADI Open Water course.
Who is the PADI Advanced course for?
You need to be 15 years old (or 12 for Junior Advanced Open Water Diver) and certified as PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification from another training organization)
For all courses you will need to fill a medical form, download it here. You might need to get medical clearance to dive before your arrival.
PADI Advanced Course description
You will need to complete 5 ‘adventure’ dives and read the theory chapters related to them. This course is great fun since you choose some of the ‘adventure’ dives you want to do!
You will learn to navigate naturally and with a compass underwater in the Underwater Navigation dive and how to dive deeper safely by getting more practice planning your dives and using a dive computer in your Deep dive. These dives are mandatory.
The other three dives are of your choice! We offer a variety of options here, with plenty of exciting dives to choose from. Perhaps perfecting your buoyancy, learning to identify fish, learning to dive in currents or a choice of many more.
Something you really enjoy? The adventure dive you chose may credit toward the first dive of the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver course. We can for example certify you as a PADI Advanced Diver and PADI Nitrox Diver with 6 dives in total.
Short on time? Why not get a few adventures dives under your belt and complete the course at a later date or become a PADI Adventure Diver.
Standard PADI Advanced course - 5,600,000 IDR - 5 dives (2 days)
This includes your training materials, your rental equipment and everything needed for the course. This also includes your E-Learning that we are sending beforehand.
PADI Advanced Plus - 6,200,000 IDR - 6 dives (3 days)
Get an extra fun dive at a discounted rate and dive a bit more! For this option we do 2 dives a day for 3 days, giving you a more relaxed pace and an extra fun dive or check dive in Nusa Penida! It might also be an opportunity to explore an extra dive site while you are here!
PADI Advanced Plus & Nitrox - 8,200,000 IDR - 6 dives (3 days)
Double the fun and get your PADI Nitrox Enriched Air certification combined with your PADI Advanced dive! This includes Elearning for both courses, as well as 2 dives on Enriched Air Nitrox.
PADI Advanced & Deep Specialty - 9,500,000 IDR - 8 dives (4 days)
Increase your depth with the PADI Deep specialty certification combined with your PADI Advanced dive! This includes Elearning for both courses, as well as all training dives for both courses. You will be certified to dive to 40 meters.
