Transport options in Nusa Penida and where to find them

So many beautiful sites to visit but how to get there?

Nusa Penida is a large island with many great sites to see but getting to them can be daunting. Unfortunately, Nusa Penida does not have Gojek or Grab so you will have to find other means of transport.

Here are a few of the most popular options with some contacts that may help you to order them if it's really busy

Option1 Taxi/ Hired car

Whether you need a lift from the harbour to your hotel or want to book a day trip to visit the island, this is a great option especially if there are several of you.

You will find many people at the harbour willing to drive you or through your hotel.

Option 2: Rent a scooter

It is the easiest way to get around the island but roads can be slightly treacherous so be very very careful. Again many people will approach you at the harbour. Remember to ask for a helmet and check the breaks. Your hotel will also be able to organise this.

Option 3: Rent a push-bike

For the more sports-orientated traveller. Ask your hotel if they have any options for 'sports' bikes, otherwise, the bar-restaurant Sibarita has a few good quality push bikes with gears. Pop by and investigate.
